About Werzel
Werzel is a professional stand up comic from the generation of WA’s Laugh Resort that spawned national icons Dave Hughes, Rove McManus and Dave Callan. He’s performed in New York City, at international comedy and fringe festivals, and in almost every part of Australia where a microphone can be plugged in. Werzel is a veteran of radio (720 ABC, Triple J, 96fm and RTRfm) film (Thunderstruck and SBS TV’s Roll), tv (Outback Upfront and Lockie Leonard) and more TV commercials than he can remember. A formidable blend of punchlines, yarn, improv and cunning, Werzel’s comedy is emotive and inclusive with a sprinkling of mischief.
