About James
James De Leo is a Comedian and Broadcaster. He has been a state finalist in Triple J’s RAW Comedy and a national finalist in Green Faces.
In 2008 he performed his first full length solo show ‘Let the James Begin’ to sold out audiences at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and followed this up in 2009 with his new etiquette based offering ‘Not Without My Porter’.
He started his television career as a host of the ABCs Saturday morning music show – FLY- TV and has appeared for ABC TVs The New Inventors, ABC Sports, Sunday Arts, Stateline and the AFI award winning comedy Double the Fist.
His radio work includes appearances on Triple J, Perth based 92.9FM and is a regular announcer on 6PR, ABC Local Radio and the top rating Mix 94.5.
He has performed with prominent Australian and international comedians such as Jeff Green, Peter Berner, Dave Callan, Tom Gleeson, Frank Woodley and Des Bishop.
