About Andrea
Originally hailing from Donnybrook, Western Australia – Andrea Gibbs has become one of Perth’s best comedians, improvisors and storytellers. She is an ensemble member in The Big HOO HAA! and Free Love Improv, and the co-creator of Perth’s newest underground performance night Barefaced Stories. She has performed comedy in NYC and Canada, Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (RAW Comedy National Finals, The Comedy Zone & Starkers). She is an experienced teacher and facilitator in improvisation and storytelling.
Her radio credits include 96fm Breakfast Crew, RTRfm Breakfast and Burning Down The House. Film/TV credits include Very Small Business (ABCTV), Stepmonsters (Nickelodeon) and My Year Without Sex (2009). Theatre credits include Perth Theatre Company, Black Swan State Theatre Company and Barking Gecko.
In 2012 she will be running for Donnybrook Apple Queen – a life long dream that she hopes will finally impress her Dad.
